Our Services

Home Care

image18

While many people are able to live independently within their own homes, it can become more difficult for those with short or long term care needs.  No-one wants to lose their independence and the help and support of family and friends is invaluable to help maintain that independence.  Putting the appropriate care and support services in place can further maintain that independence and, in many cases, can help service users learn new ways to manage everyday living and remain in their own homes. This is also known as domiciliary care.

Direct Payments

The term 'direct payments' is an all embracing description of a number of ways of working that give people greater levels of choice and control in planning and deciding how their care and support needs are met.

Palliative Care

When faced with a condition that requires palliative care as there will be no recovery, or at the end of life, it is important that people have choice and control over where they wish to spend the last years, months or days.

Dementia Care

Willowbrook has extensive experience of caring with clients with dementia. Our staff know how worrying it is for families of those who have the condition. It can be particularly concerning for families who don't live close by.

This is a tailored service available to clients between 10pm and 7am which offers welfare checks throughout the night that provides peace of mind for families and informal carers on either a short term or long term basis.

Hospital Discharge

At Willowbrook we can support clients following a discharge from a hospital stay. We can assist with all aspects of personal care which can include dressing, bathing, preparation of meals and support with medication. Even those weekly jobs such as shopping, domestic cleaning and laundry can be too much after a hospital stay.
