On the 17th of March, the renowned National Finals of The Great British Care Awards commenced at the ICC in Birmingham.
All Regional winners gathered to celebrate and pay tribute to the Best of the Best in Social Care and to hear who would be the National winners of 2023.
Throughout the evening, popular compare Steve Walls entertained the finalists, and guests watched a spectacular Irish dance routine in honour of St. Patrick’s Day and rocked it with ‘Freddy Mercury’. With the legendary Peter Andre in attendance as the awards guest presenter – it was a fabulous evening.
Peter Andre said on his social media that he had received a lovely welcome and that he was honoured to be here to help with the awards.
Victoria Yates, Registered Manager of Extra Care at Willowbrook Homecare, attended the awards as a National finalist after winning The Housing with Care Award in Manchester in November 2022. The award was one of the last announced, and in the end, it went to Kirkdale House, Community Integrated Care.
