Our Albion Mill community recently celebrated Eid, the end of a month of fasting from dawn to sunset, by spending quality time together and sampling sweet treats.
Eid al-Fitr is sometimes referred to as the Sugar Feast, a nod to the fact that a large part of the meal eaten at the celebrations is desserts – We certainly enjoyed ours!
Thank you to everyone who came and helped with the food and traditional dress, ensuring our celebrations were extra special.
We hope everyone celebrating had an Eid Mubarak (Blessed Eid).
