On a sunny and heartwarming afternoon, Albion Mill in Blackburn welcomed some very special guests who were fluffy, friendly, and full of personality!
Emily’s Mini Farm, a bespoke mobile petting farm, brought the joy of the countryside directly to the residents. Our Willowbrook Homecare Extra Care Team were delighted to join in the fun too.
The garden was filled with laughter, smiles, and gentle curiosity, and everyone enjoyed the chance to meet a delightful mix of animals, including inquisitive tortoises, gentle giant rabbits, cheeky goats, and clucking hens.
The sounds of joy and conversation echoed around Albion Mill as people stroked soft fur, fed treats, and learned more about each animal’s care and character.
Emily’s Mini Farm, founded in 2013, is based on five picturesque acres in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire. Built on a love of animals and a passion for community connection, it has grown into a much-loved provider of mobile petting experiences across the region.
