We did it! Our Macmillan Coffee Morning was a smashing success! Together, we raised an incredible £560 for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of our good friend and colleague Babs, who sadly passed away in July after a long battle with cancer.

A heartfelt thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every one of you who contributed, attended and made this event a heartwarming triumph.

The cakes were delicious, the tea and coffee spot on, the raffle and tombola a complete sell-out, and the company was unbeatable.

But what truly warmed our hearts was the dedication of everyone coming together to make a difference.

The £280 raised on the day was generously matched by Elaine Brady, Owner, and Managing Director of Willowbrook Homecare, bringing the total amount to £560. This contribution will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, ensuring they can continue their crucial work, providing help, guidance, and care to many affected by cancer.

Willowbrook is humbled by the kindness shown and proud of what we achieved together. Let’s keep the spirit of giving alive – not just today, but every day and here’s to more successful events and spreading happiness and hope in our community.

*This event (29/09/2023) alongside the Macmillan coffee morning recently held at Albion Mill by our Willowbrook Extra Care Service earlier in September, has seen Willowbrook Homecare raise an impressive £857 for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2023!
