We are thrilled to announce that Willowbrook Homecare’s Hyndburn and Lytham locations have secured a place on Lancashire County Council’s Living Well at Home Purchasing System (PDPS).

The Living Well at Home PDPS is to support the delivery of Lancashire County Council’s vision to enable people to live as independently and as healthily as possible in their own homes through providing the right level of care and support with prevention, early intervention, and the promotion of independence.

The award will enable Willowbrook Homecare to bid for contracts to provide short-term care, home care and extra care across the Lancashire area. The estimated total call-off value of the Living Well at Home PDPS is up to 4.2 billion over a 12-year period.

Founded in 2000, Willowbrook Homecare provides home care services for people living in the East Lancashire and the Fylde and Wyre areas. Through effective partnership, working with Housing and the Blackburn with Darwen Authority, Willowbrook Homecare also provides care and support for people living in Extra Care schemes in the Blackburn and Darwen areas. Willowbrook also operates the Lancashire Countywide Roving Night service.

Elaine Brady, Managing Director, said; “As a trusted home care provider in Lancashire, we are delighted to secure a place on Lancashire’s PDPS. The PDPS provides Willowbrook Homecare with the opportunity to open the doors for further employment and learning opportunities within our community, aiding the expansion of our established care and support services across East Lancashire and the Fylde and Wyre areas. Willowbrook’s’ purpose continues to be to provide personalised care and support to help people remain in the comfort of their own homes, independently and healthily, for as long as possible. Our purpose aligns with the purpose outlined in Lancashire County Council’s Living Well at Home strategy, and we look forward to supporting Lancashire County Council with the delivery of their strategy.”
