This week marks a bittersweet moment for us at Willowbrook Homecare as we bid a fond farewell to our valued colleague, Amanda. Having been an integral part of our team since February 2018, Amanda leaves a legacy of dedication, warmth, and unparalleled commitment.
In a heartfelt gesture, our Area Coordinators, Alison and Lynne, presented Amanda with flowers and a card, expressing our gratitude for her invaluable contribution to Willowbrook Homecare.
Amanda has been the cornerstone of our Roving Nights team, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost single-handedly, she steered the team forward, demonstrating an outstanding attendance record and an unwavering work ethic. Her detailed handovers enabled the office team to follow up on any concerns, ensuring our service users received the best possible care outcomes.
Registered Manager Lynsey said: “Amanda is known for her genuine warmth, compassion, and care of others, and even though we are sad to see her go, we are also immensely grateful for all the hard work, teamwork and enduring impact she has made on her colleagues, the management team, and our Willowbrook Homecare service users as a whole”.
