Walking on Wings; Challenge COMPLETE

Back in August, we shared Lindsey’s story with you, and her incredible decision to take on a Wing Walk to raise money and awareness for Suicide Awareness / Prevention UK (SAP;UK).

Today, we are delighted to share that Lindsey has completed her challenge and raised (drum roll please) £2,150!

What started as a very personal challenge, inspired by Lindsey’s own experience of losing a loved one to suicide three years ago, has been an incredible journey of courage, determination, and fundraising.

Lindsey chose to take on this challenge to support the important work of SAP;UK, raise awareness around suicide prevention and encourage conversations that could help someone reach out for support when they need it most.

As we shared in our original post, Lindsey funded the Wing Walk herself using money she received for her 50th birthday. This means every donation made through her fundraiser goes directly to SAP;UK, helping to support their important work.

Lindsey, from everyone at Willowbrook Homecare, we are incredibly proud of you; you set yourself an extraordinary challenge, took to the skies and absolutely smashed it!

And, of course, not even a bird dared to get in your way!

A huge thank you, too, to everyone who has supported Lindsey by donating, sharing her story, and cheering her on. Your support has helped make this challenge even more meaningful.

£2,150 raised for a cause that means so much. What an achievement!

💚💙 If you would still like to support Lindsey and SAP;UK, you can still donate. The GoFundMe page is open until the end of September.

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference. 💚💙
