Vicky Yates, Willowbrook Homecare’s Extra Care Registered Manager, Nicky Smith, Team Leader, and Hayley Morris, Manager at Progress Housing Group, attended Lancashire Listens: The Big Conversation on Care at Crossgate Church in Preston.

They were pleased to have a stall at the event, sharing information about our Extra Care Scheme at St Martins Court in Lancaster and talking to people about the support available to help individuals live independently, safely, and well within an Extra Care setting.

Events like this provide a valuable opportunity to connect with the local community, share experiences, and help shape the future of adult social care.

Feedback gathered throughout the event will contribute to Lancashire County Council’s response to the Casey Commission, helping ensure local voices are heard in the national conversation about the future of care. The views shared could help influence how care and support are delivered for generations to come.

At Willowbrook Homecare, we believe every voice matters. By working together, listening to people, and sharing experiences, we can help further develop person-centred services that truly make a positive difference to individuals, their families and our communities.
