On Friday 25th of November, between 10.00 am – 2.00 pm, we will be holding a fundraising event at our Willowbrook Homecare Head Office raising money in aid of our local foodbank – Union Road Community Church, Oswaldtwistle.

There will be refreshments, a raffle and a tombola, with some great prizes available to be won on the day. Local Union Road businesses have kindly donated prizes for the fundraiser, and we’ve had a fantastic community response from them, with the following donations to date;

*Fitness Bank – 6-month membership
*Dark Glow – 30 minutes tanning time
Food vouchers from
*Perfect Plaice
*Ye Olde Sausage Shop
*Francos
*Monte Cristos
*Meal Preps
Gifts from
*All Occasions
*Victoria Louise
*Imbue Nails and Beauty
*Cinderellas
*Furniture Emporium
Gift vouchers from
*Civic Theatre
*Hairspray

WOW and we’re still awaiting a few other businesses to get back to us!

We are so proud of the Oswaldtwistle community and what they have donated so far – THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Tickets are available now for £2 for a strip of 5 tickets.

We are hoping for a great turnout on Friday – we hope you can join us. You can contact Alison Flegg or Lynn Walsh at 01254 390347 or email us at office@willowbrookhomecare.co.uk for further information.

*Over the past 18 months, Reverend Arnot Bridges has walked up and down Union Road, handing out sweet treats to people that had been left over from the church’s weekly food bank – ensuring that nothing went to waste.

He has visited us here at Willowbrook Homecare every Friday, checking in on how we all are and saying prayers for us.

During our many conversations, he mentioned that the foodbank has rapidly grown and now serves over 40 families, but this comes at a financial cost – meaning the church cannot always provide food parcels for everyone.

Willowbrook Homecare is currently a Drop Off Point for the food bank, but we want to do more to help, so we have decided to hold a fundraiser (led by Lynn Walsh and Alison Flegg) this Friday to raise funds to support the food bank.

Thank you for your support.
