Next month, Lindsey Dean, Finance Manager at Willowbrook Homecare, will take on an incredible challenge to raise money for Suicide Awareness and Prevention UK (SAP;UK).

On 21 September 2026, Lindsey will be taking part in a Wing Walk in Kent to raise money and awareness for this important cause.

Lindsey has chosen to support SAP;UK because of the valuable work they do in supporting people in crisis, raising awareness, and encouraging conversations that can help save lives.

This incredible cause is particularly close to Lindsey’s heart. A few years ago, she experienced a loss that changed her life forever and showed her just how devastating the impact of suicide can be on families, friends, and loved ones.

Lindsey has funded the Wing Walk herself using money she received for her 50th birthday, meaning every donation will go directly to SAP; UK.

Lindsey said: “If taking on this Wing Walk helps raise funds, raise awareness, or encourages even one person to reach out for help, then every second of it will be worthwhile.”

Everyone at Willowbrook Homecare is incredibly proud of Lindsey for taking on this challenge and using her personal experience to help others.

Good luck, Lindsey! We’ll be cheering you on all the way!
