On Saturday, May 6th at Albion Mill, we gathered to watch The Coronation Service of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
We thought the procession to Westminster Abbey, the detail in the order of service, and the splendour of the music were all just wonderful to witness, especially when the Westminister Choir sang Georg Frederick Handel’s anthem Zadok the Priest, which has been performed at every coronation since 1727 – it gave us goosebumps.
We enjoyed waving our flags, wearing our coronation hats and being together to watch history unfold before us, and then we danced.
What a right royal day we had.
God save the King
