Willowbrook Homecare (Extra Care Services) is delighted to share a heart-warming event held this week at Albion Mill: The annual Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, organised by our dedicated Concierge team.
In the spirit of community and giving and for such a worthy charity, we joined forces with the Blackburn with Darwen Concierge team to raise funds for a noble cause. Together, we managed to raise an impressive £297 to date.
The highlight of the coffee morning (in our opinion) was a stunning cake, lovingly crafted by one of our night staff members – Mew-Ying, which we raffled off on the day to one lucky winner. We’re thrilled to announce that the cake found a deserving home with one of our fabulous ladies, Glyniss.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this worthy event – it was lovely to see everyone together. Your support and generosity will help support Macmillan Cancer Research’s incredible work in providing vital services, guidance, and care to those affected by cancer.
