We are delighted to share the success of our recent Macmillan Coffee morning at Albion Mill, where residents, colleagues, friends and community partners came together to enjoy coffee, cake and good company – all while raising money for an incredible cause.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the event raised an amazing £273.50 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, helping them continue their vital work for people living with cancer and their families.
Our Extra Care Registered Manager, Vicky Yates, would like to extend a very special thank you to Lorraine Scaife, one of our dedicated carers, and Chrissy Stuttard, concierge from Blackburn with Darwen, for their hard work and support in making the day such a success.
We would also like to show our appreciation to Darren and The Crown and Thistle pub for their kind donations of cakes and pies – they were enjoyed by all and added a wonderful touch to the event.
This coffee morning was a true example of partnership working at its best. It was fantastic to see so many people come together, sharing kindness, generosity and community spirit.
Thank you once again to everyone who joined us and supported this meaningful cause.
