After seven dedicated years at Riverside Heights, we are both proud and a little emotional to share that Olwen Tarkhan, who has been with us since we first opened our doors in 2018, has officially retired.
Olwen has been a valued member of the Willowbrook Extra Care team, bringing warmth, compassion, and professionalism to everything she has done. Her unwavering commitment to the people we support and her colleagues has made a lasting impact on everyone around her.
Over the years, Olwen has been known for her kindness, gentle humour, and the genuine care she has shown to both residents and team members alike. Her dedication has helped make Riverside Heights the welcoming, supportive community it is today.
Speaking about Olwen’s retirement, both Vicky Yates, Extra Care Registered Manager, and Nicola Smith, Deputy Manager, said:
