This week, Willowbrook Homecare had the pleasure of presenting Alex and James with a £1,000 donation in support of their incredible Project 240 challenge, raising funds for Springhill Hospice.

Pictured are Vicky Yates, Extra Care Registered Manager, and Nicola Smith, Extra Care Manager, proudly handing over the cheque to Alex and James at Hare Hill, Littleborough. It was a privilege to meet them both in person and hear more about the inspiration behind their journey, honouring Alex’s dad, Darren.

Their commitment, strength and determination continue to inspire us all, and we are proud to stand alongside them in supporting such a meaningful cause

Upcoming dates to support them both and get involved:

📅 Monday 20th April at 5pm
Join Alex and James at Springhill Hospice for a relaxed hour to say thank you to everyone who has supported them so far.

🏃‍♂️ Tuesday 21st April at 7:45am
The challenge begins! They will be setting off from Springhill Hospice. If you would like to run alongside them for 5km, 10km or 20km, or simply come and cheer them on, your support will mean so much to them.

🎉 Saturday 9th May
A celebration event will be held at The Oxford pub, where the total amount raised for the Hospice will be revealed. More details to follow, but please save the date.
