In recent weeks, one of the individuals we support in Lytham has had a wonderful time filled with creativity, community, and celebration, thanks to Julie, one of our dedicated care professionals.

It started with a relaxing and creative activity at home: painting elephant fridge magnets. This provided a wonderful opportunity to express creativity, enjoy some calm time, and make something personal to brighten up the kitchen.
There was also an exciting trip to The Bee Centre in Brindle, Chorley, where they learned more about bees and their importance to the environment. A highlight of the visit was adopting a bee, lovingly named “Bea,” as well as choosing some locally produced honey from the shop to take home. It was a meaningful experience that brought together learning, nature, and a sense of connection.

To round off this special time, a late birthday brunch was enjoyed together to celebrate Julie’s birthday, a perfect way to mark the occasion in a relaxed and joyful setting.
