That is why we are proud to introduce our newly enhanced Induction Training Programme, designed to provide a consistent, engaging and values-led introduction to working within our homecare and extra care services
The refreshed programme combines a structured presentation with a newly developed interactive workbook and handout, creating an engaging learning experience that supports different learning styles and encourages active participation
The induction is delivered by our Care Plan Lead and dedicated trainer, Anne Silcox, whose professionalism, warmth, and passion for developing others helps every new employee feel supported from day one.
Anne explains: “Our induction training goes beyond reading policies and procedures. It is about understanding why they are important, recognising different learning styles, building confidence in practice, creating connections, and helping employees understand the positive difference they make every day to the individuals they support and care for.”
The programme has been carefully designed with the learner at its heart. Through the interactive workbook, employees are encouraged to reflect on their learning, take notes, ask questions, and explore how their role contributes to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
This refreshed approach helps every new employee feel prepared, understand what is expected of them, and recognise that every interaction has the opportunity to make a positive difference. More than simply an introduction to the company, the induction sets the foundations for how we work together as a team and how we support people to live safely and well in their own homes.
