There were plenty of smiles (and a few friendly frights) at Riverside Heights in Darwen this week, as our Willowbrook Extra Care team and the people we support and care for enjoyed a spookily good Halloween celebration!
The event was filled with laughter, music, and delicious food, including a potato pie and pea supper that went down a real treat. The wonderful Laura McDonald provided live entertainment, getting everyone singing along and tapping their feet.
This fantastic afternoon was made possible through our partnership with Together Housing, with special thanks to Jennifer for all her hard work and support, and to David and Lesley from the fabulous Riverside Heights restaurant for providing such fantastic food; it truly made the day extra special.
It was a wonderful celebration full of community spirit, with residents, families and friends coming together in true Riverside Heights style, with care, kindness, and fun at the heart of it all.
