We are excited to announce the success of our Christmas Market, held on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, where we raised an impressive £500 for the Union Road Community Church Food Bank (Oswaldtwistle).
The event brought neighbours, friends, families and colleagues together for a festive few hours filled with kindness, conversation and community spirit. We are truly grateful to everyone who attended, donated and supported the day. Every contribution supports the food bank’s vital work for individuals and families in the local area, particularly during the winter months.
When Alison, Willowbrook Homecare Area Care Coordinator, handed the cheque to Pastor Duncan and Dawn, they were both overwhelmed by the generosity displayed. They wanted to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed. They emphasised how much they appreciate this support and the meaningful difference it will make to the church’s food bank.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Tinkerbrook Garage, The Vanity Room and Cinderella The Boutique for their generous raffle donations, which added an extra touch of excitement to the day. Our raffles are always a firm favourite, and their support helped make it even more enjoyable.
A massive shout-out goes to our Willowbrook Homecare Hyndburn Team at the Oswaldtwistle office for their exceptional efforts in organising the event. We also extend our appreciation to our Managing Director, Elaine Brady, for her generous donation, which significantly boosted our final fundraising total. Her continued support, along with that of the wider community, helped us achieve a fantastic result for a cause that means so much to many.
We are equally grateful to everyone who joined us, shared a smile and contributed to this important fundraiser. The kindness shown throughout the day truly reflects the best of our local community.
