On Wednesday, 22nd July, residents at Hare Hill Extra Care, Littleborough, came together with family, friends, and our dedicated Willowbrook Homecare Extra Care team to enjoy a fantastic Summer Party filled with delicious food, music, and plenty of smiles.
The afternoon began with everyone enjoying a traditional meat-and-potato pie, providing the perfect opportunity for residents and their loved ones to relax, chat and spend quality time together.
Entertainment was provided by the brilliant Paul, whose live performance created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the afternoon. Residents sang along to familiar favourites, danced together, and made the most of a wonderful summer celebration.
One of the highlights was Paul’s performance of “Kingston Town”, a song famously covered by UB40 and originally written by Lord Creator. The familiar tune had everyone joining in, creating a lovely sense of togetherness, and making the afternoon even more memorable.
At Willowbrook Homecare, we know that opportunities to socialise, celebrate and spend time with family and friends play an important role in supporting wellbeing and helping people stay connected with their local community. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the sunshine, fantastic entertainment and each other’s company.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to all those who helped make the day such a success, especially Paul for providing such fantastic entertainment and helping to create an afternoon full of laughter, music, and lasting memories.
