December 18th 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of Willowbrook Homecare, which by any measure, and in any industry is a remarkable achievement.
Founded by, and still solely owned by Elaine Brady, Willowbrook has gone from Elaine being the only carer to a company that now employs almost 250 people. Elaine’s vision was to create a care company to provide professional, personal care to her clients, delivered by highly trained staff that understood Elaine’s ethos.
Special thoughts and memories go out to Elaine’s late Mother Eunice Dean who believed in, and supported Elaine’s ambitions from the first day, and who later became a truly loved carer to all her clients at Willowbrook and would be extremely proud of Elaine and Willowbrook’s Success.
Now as Willowbrook starts its 20th year, the company delivers care to clients in East Lancashire, Blackburn and the Fylde Coast, working with Lancashire County Council and Blackburn With Darwen Council, not just delivering care to clients in their own homes, but also in Supported Living Schemes. And 2021, despite the challenges thrown up in 2020, looks like it’s going to be just as successful, as Willowbrook will be the care provider in Blackburn With Darwen Councils latest Supported Living Scheme at Albion Mill, due to open February 2021.
Of course, Elaine recognises that the company success could only have been achieved with the help of a dedicated Management and Care team, many of whom have been with Elaine for a number of years and Elaine would like to sincerely thank all the Management and care teams for their loyal, dedicated and continued support.
Elaine and Willowbrook have had the pleasure of providing care to thousands of clients over the last 20 years, and Elaine would like to thank them all for their kindness and the memories they have provided.
Elaine would also like to thank some notable people for their continued support, guidance, and friendship over the years, some of which have had a relationship with Willowbrook since the first year. Elaine would like to express her gratitude to Les Moore, Oliver McCann and the team at Napthens Solicitors, Vince Bennet at Yorkshire Bank, Peter Kelly at PM & M, and Phillip Hills at David J Millers Insurance Brokers and along with past and present colleagues at Lancashire County Council and Blackburn with Darwen Council. Elaine greatly appreciates these partnerships and their support over Willowbrooks last 20 years of service and looks forward to our continued success together in the coming years.
Elaine would like to thank everybody who has contributed to Willowbrook over that last 20 years, and as we end this unprecedented challenging year, the company goes from strength to strength and 2021 looks like it will be the most successful yet.
So thank you, raise a drink and enjoy the birthday celebrations!
We will be adding lots of photographs of the team and our clients celebrating throughout the coming days which you can see in the gallery.
